When does Screwfix run its biggest sale?
Black Friday in late November is the headline event. Screwfix has opened it with app-exclusive offers in the past. The UK, Ireland and France each have their own Black Friday page.
Does Screwfix have a permanent clearance section?
Yes. The clearance page runs all year and Screwfix updates it daily. It lists reduced stock from trusted trade brands, split into categories such as tools, plumbing and heating, and electrical and lighting.
How much does UK delivery cost?
Standard next-day delivery (Monday to Saturday) is free over £50 and £5 below that. Sunday delivery is £5 for orders of £50 to £100, and free above £100. Delivery to a Screwfix store is always free.
How fast is Click & Collect on deal items?
If your local store has the item, you can collect it in as little as 1 minute. Over 10,000 products are available for same-day collection. Items not in stock arrive the next day, and you can order them for collection with items that are in stock.
Will Screwfix match a lower price elsewhere?
Yes, through its Price Promise. Find an identical product cheaper at a high street retailer with stores nationwide, and Screwfix will match it or refund the difference. Make your claim in a store, within 7 days of ordering.
Do bulk savings work if I mix collection and delivery?
Yes. You can order items for both collection and delivery in one basket. Screwfix takes payment for the whole order and works out delivery charges, discounts and bulk savings from the entire basket total.
Can you spread the cost of big tool purchases?
Businesses can apply for a Trade Credit account with up to 60 days free credit and no annual fee. Payment is due by the last day of the month after you buy. Approval depends on credit checks.
What deals can you get at Screwfix Live?
Screwfix Live is a three-day trade show held in September at Farnborough, with over 200 brands. Visitors get a 10% show discount that's exclusive to the event weekend. Registered visitors also collect a free goodie bag worth over £40.
How does Screwfix Rewards work?
It's free, and you join through the Screwfix app. You collect 1 coin per 1p spent, whether you shop in the app, online, in store or by phone. Each month has six coin milestones, and each one unlocks a reward. Coins reset monthly, and rewards last 14 days.
Does Screwfix sell outside the UK?
Yes. Ireland has its own site, screwfix.ie, with prices in euros. France has screwfix.fr. Each country runs its own offers and ranges, so UK deals won't always match.
